Democracy Federal Credit Union Hosts Free IRS-Certified Tax Assistance Through WEBS Training Center Partnership
Alexandria, VA – Democracy Federal Credit Union is proud to partner with WEBS Training Center to provide free, IRS-backed Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) services to low-and moderate-income households in the Alexandria community.
The VITA program began is free tax service on February 5th and will continue through April 10th. Services are offered every Thursday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Democracy Federal Credit Union’s headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. Walk-ins are welcome; however, appointments are encouraged. An authorized tax preparer is on site during all service hours.
By providing space at no cost, Democracy Federal Credit Union is reinforcing its commitment to financial empowerment and community impact.

Through this partnership, eligible taxpayers can claim valuable credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), helping boost household income and improve long-term financial stability.
