DFCU Clothing Drive
For Christmas this year, we want to give the gift of clothing. A necessary resource for all, but with limited access for many. We will partner with local shelters to offer this gift from the DFCU Family. If you are in a position to donate, we are encouraging staff, members, partners, and friends to donate new or gently used clothing items.
When: Monday, November 10th, until December 19th

Today, Democracy Federal Credit Union had the privilege of participating in the Speed Networking Event at H.D. Woodson High School in Washington, DC—a dynamic opportunity for students and professionals to connect through quick, meaningful conversations. Last week, DFCU participated in the Benefits Fair at Gallaudet University. Democracy Federal Credit Union was proud to join Gallaudet University’s Benefits Fair last week, connecting directly with faculty, staff, and students in a setting focused on wellness and support. Our team enjoyed meaningful conversations about financial empowerment, accessible banking options, and the resources available to the Gallaudet community. Events like this strengthen our commitment to meeting people where they are and ensuring that financial well-being is accessible to everyone. We look forward to deepening our engagement with Gallaudet University in the months ahead.

Who is ALIVE? ALIVE is a community organization that addresses food insecurity in Alexandria and the surrounding areas. During this government shutdown, distribution hubs like ALIVE are overwhelmed with families in need of support.
